Since 1995, we have been assisting organizations achieve goals, increase profit, boost productivity, and improve stakeholder value. Our staff has assisted major corporations including Warner Bros., Microsoft, Hollywood Video, Allied Telesis, Design Within Reach, Wieden + Kennedy, educational institutions like Purdue University and the University of Kentucky, non-profits like Associated Builders and Contractors and the Clean Economy Network, and a sizable number of closely-held or family-owned small-to-medium businesses.

Our engagements are established against specific objectives which deliver value to the client in the form of business goals. They have established objectives and timing, and generally range from one to six months. Our work is collaborative, involving client personnel from inception through skills transfer and completion.

Strategic Visioning & Alignment

For most of our clients, a core value of the services that we provide is helping to clarify direction and align the organization around the newly clarified goals.

Sales Re-Invention

For one client, this involved a strategy session to determine the causes of lack-luster sales performance. Our recommendations included staff realignment with a renewed focus on matching sales skills to product line, incorporating assessments of sales person skill and behavior both pre-hire and for on-the-job coaching. We involved members of the sales team, general management, and end customers in the process to create higher levels of value.

Organizational Redesign

For one recent client, we helped design a new organizational structure through which the company would serve its end clients. We involved all owners and senior managers, most individual contributors internal to the company, and many key end clients external to the organization to create greater involvement, higher levels of buy-in, and the experience of greater value through the process.

Systems Design & Improvement

We help our clients implement the policies, procedures, and systems needed to ensure success. These often look like employee policies, order processing procedures, administrative procedures, and the like. Our process improvement methodologies help deliver maximum results.

One client's methods of interfacing with customers and processing orders was resulting in weeks of delay. Our review revealed solutions that, when implemented, cut processing to under a day and recovered more than $1M in lost revenue.

Performance Management Implementation

For one recent client, we built their first formal management team and helped them find ways to command more information about the company's performance in less time. We helped establish Performance Factors including Key Performance Indicators and Key Accountabilities by manager. We also helped the team learn how to engage in regular performance improvement. The result was taking the company from a loss to a NET profit in about six months.
